1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using OLife'S ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. User Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years old (18+ in certain jurisdictions)
  • You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality
  • You agree to provide accurate information during registration

3. Account Responsibility

  • You are solely responsible for all activity under your account
  • You agree not to share your login credentials
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
  • We are not liable for unauthorized use due to negligence

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the App for illegal purposes
  • Circumvent security or authentication mechanisms
  • Scrape, crawl, or bulk download content without permission
  • Harass, defame, or abuse other users
  • Distribute malware or malicious content
  • Impersonate others
  • Violate intellectual property rights

5. Intellectual Property

  • The App, design, and original content are owned by us
  • User-generated content (notes, bookmarks, study data) remains yours
  • You grant us a license to store and process your data per Privacy Policy
  • Public collections are viewable but not redistributable without attribution

6. Limitation of Liability

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We disclaim all warranties (merchantability, fitness, non-infringement)
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Total liability is limited to amount paid in past 12 months (if any)
  • Some jurisdictions do not allow liability caps; applicable laws apply

7. Disclaimers

  • The App is for personal learning. Not a substitute for professional education
  • SM-2 and other algorithms are approximations; results vary by user
  • We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes
  • Offline-first architecture may have sync delays
  • Availability: We aim for 99% uptime but make no SLA guarantees

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify us from claims arising from:

  • Your use of the App
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your user-generated content
  • Your infringement of third-party rights

9. Termination

  • We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms
  • You may delete your account anytime via settings
  • Upon termination, your data is deleted per Privacy Policy
  • Termination does not release you from liability

10. Modification of Terms

We may update these Terms anytime. Your continued use implies acceptance. Material changes require notice. If you disagree, you may delete your account.

11. Dispute Resolution

  • Disputes are governed by applicable law (BR/US)
  • You agree to attempt resolution through our support first
  • Unresolved disputes may go to arbitration or court per jurisdiction

12. Severability

If any provision is invalid, the remainder stays in effect.
